Beri Allen-Miller

Extraordinary, is the word resounding in my head after I finish talking to Beri about her poetry. Reading Beri’s body of poems, it’s difficult to imagine that the majority have been written by a sixteen year old young woman. They show such eloquent and articulate insight into emotions and inner head-workings that many of us are stuck to explain in words and are struck by. Beri however waxes lyrical in a manner that is arresting and has a special way of connecting with the reader because it is immediate.

The Harrison Brothers

Outside the Monto Water Rats, the spill-over of Little Episodes first Birthday party and the launch of 'Brainstorms', complete with drinks spilt, fags smoked, and hook-ups imminent, our de facto house band The Harrison Brothers and myself find ourselves conducting an interview amidst all the ruckus. It was a bit rough and tumble, but aside from a few interruptions by groupies, photographers, and the bar staff impatiently asking us to leave, we were able to piece together some of the elusive history behind this foot-stomping good time, even if it was just the drink talking

Nina Antonia

As Little Episodes aims to stimulate creativity and provide a refuge for talented artistic individuals, this month’s feature will focus on the collaborative efforts that Little Episodes’ co-founders, Chris Colston and Lucie Barât, have come together to produce.
